I think this is the best place for traditional Middle Eastern food! The chicken and meat shawarma platters are so so good (perfectly well seasoned and well cooked) and the mixed grill was perfectly flavoured and grilled 8.5/10 from me!

Was shocked to see the shawarma . In 25 years of living in Dubai , I’ve never seen such a thin small shawarma. Very disappointing

Rude from the time I entered to order. Staying at a hotel around the corner I decided to give a try. As soon as I entered to look into the menu the cashier repeated 2-3 times that this is the price. Even before I had yet ordered anything. Anyway, I told first let me see what I want to order and settled on a lamb shawema comes with fries and pickled radish.

First impression with the mixed salad platter was impressive. The fish was a little chewy and so was the grilled chicken. The tea served was awesome at the end. It’s priced more for the food served , compared to other restaurants we had been which serve Lebanese food. In all it’s an ok restaurant to visit once.!

Last evening we visited Shawarma House for the first time.
We ordered Chicken Shawarma Combo – Normal and Spicy, and Chicken Shawarma Sandwich (7 AED)
Each Shawarma Combo costed 15 AED which included large shawarma, fries, pickles, garlic sauce and lemon mint juice.

Awani serves a nice palette of traditional dishes server and prepared the same traditional way. Menu is wide enough to choose for everyone. I’ve picket some dishes just to try, and all was perfect. Plus nice interior, show kitchen and welcoming staff, worth to pass by for a family lunch or just a quick bite.

It’s an Arabic restaurant famous for its falafel 🧆
Hommos and falafel are worth trying.
They also, have fresh juice and milkshakes.
The price is a little bit higher as compared to another Arabic restaurants.
Staff service is the worst, they only like to serve Arabic customers as they think we are asking for free.
